But individuals form groups. Islam is one of those. If your Islam friends were really for peace they would not, repeat, WOULD NOT, be Muslims. They are not real Muslims if they cannot abide by the core tenet of Islam - jihad.
I didn't see David Koresh doing Jihad against the American government nor American citizens. They existed peacefully in America since the 1920s without a problem. The US government when in there with guns blazing both at the beginning and the end of the seige of their church. The US government took the initiative to jihad them instead of resolving it peacefully which was an option.
Do you understand anything about war? During the War of Independence what percentage of Americans were actively participating in war operations against the Redcoats? About 20 percent. What percentage were supporting it behind the scenes with money and other forms? A much higher percentage. Were there 10 or 20 percent that were not for independence from Britian? Sure. But the percentage of those for independence (both public and private) were greater than those against it.

Do you think that the Jihadis here in America and abroad don't have a support network? I think your numbers are crap. But let's pretend they were correct. In fact, let's assume every Muslim in the world, except one was involved, and that one person was completely and absolutely innocent. In that case it would be evil and unjust to punish that person. Period. That's all I'm saying. And if you don't understand why the Government shouldn't be punishing innocent people, then there's nothing more to discuss.
