Exactly. I went to school at UofCalifornia Santa Barbara, in classrooms that at one time were PILLBOXES with guns facing to the sea to repel a Japanese attack. It is entirely prudent and necessary to remove potentially dangerous populations from a potential war zone until they can be cleared.
So, you're comfortable with giving the government to power to determine which American citizens are "potentially dangerous?"
I'll keep that in mind if Hilary wins in 2008.
I will repeat though, that some of the ways in which the citizens that were interned were taken advantage of, and suffered under prevailing racism of the time was unconcionable. But I won't spend too much time apologizing for a different culture (in time), a different war, and a different racial understanding. Still, I know there were plenty of people that knew that the racism and misappropriation were wrong.
