It's a bit moot to debate now, but here is a response to most of your comments.

2. Yes

3. Read it again. It says it happens--not how it happens.

5. More mushy middle.

6. He can't adjust the schedule or it would be beyond election day.

7. Maybe he changed his tune:

10. No. Districts would be used BEFORE voter approval, and those elected would remain in office through the term, even if the districts were disapproved--see excerpt that I posted here:

Oh why did we bother? Like I said to other Freepers, when there's a real conservative agenda to get excited about the party can call me. You can't go half way and expect the libs to agree to having their power slashed. A big lesson from this election is if you gotta take the bad guys on, take 'em on all the way. The governor can ignore conservatives but as he's discovered, he can't win without 'em. He needs to show the base he's not simply a Democrat wearing the "R" label. As Hugh Hewitt says, his judicial pick for the State Supreme Court is the key. He blows that one and the base will conclude its not worth fighting to get him re-elected. And he needs to be serious about cutting spending. Otherwise he should go back to making movies.
