It will be really telling about FNC to see how they treat this.

Will they report the LIES told by the homosexuals? (will shepard smith report with zeal or just ignore it?)

It makes you wonder who is running behind the cameras there.

Bad timing. They should have voted on this in the 2006 general election.

Way to go Texas!

And to all you Republicans out there who insist that we're better off 'playing not to lose', instead of standing up for conservatism, this is the very kind of result that makes a mockery of your convoluted 'logic'.

Conservative - true conservative - issues, and candidates, can and will win. But there can be not a trace of ambiguity when presenting the case. Stand tall and speak loud and clear that this great nation, founded on the principles of Judeo-Christianity, can only prosper and be truly free when it's citizens are motivated to rise against the moral and economic depravity of our opponent's agenda, indeed their benighted, socialistic passion.

The 'R' gubernatorial candidate lost in my state of Virginia tonight. A good man, and probably a good conservative at heart, but his failure to present himself as an unabashed conservative, resolutely and unambiguously stating his advocacy of true conservative positions, cost him this election.

The defeat of this amendment by such a huge margin is great. And to think I worried about the homos and their tricky and confusing advertising, campaigning and posters, which tried to fool many folks into voting NO.

I'm very proud to be a Texan.

My first post, I'm proud to report that my son was able to vote for the first time today at 18 years of age. Most find the personality votes more fun than the issue votes, but this is a great election start for our youth. The issues are MOST important and the WORDS have meaning. His Mother and I are real proud of him.

The gay marriage constitutional ban approval was front page:

Houston Chronicle: http://www.chron.com

Dallas Morning News: http://www.dallasnews.com

Prop. 2 Same sex marriage denied legal status - 99.5% Reporting

IN FAVOR......505,429......75.93%.....1,706,580.....76.15%
AGAINST.......160,242......24.07%........534,350.....23.85%

Screw the liberal MSM. Secondly, I am so sick of having to hear about gays when hormone therapy works 99% of the time to stop this very serious disease.

What happened with the Pledge of Allegiance language in Texas...I heard that failed or are my liberal friends yanking my chain?

Here's what they said:" The pledge of allegiance was rejected today in Texas. Voters decided that they don't want liberty & justice for all."

"In Maine, however, a proposal to repeal a new gay-rights law was trailing in early returns."

This is why the AP SUCKS.

The article is about a state issue but the AP can NOT help themselves trying to "balance" a conservative vote with something that sounds liberal. A Maine vote to repeal a previous law is totally irrelevant.

The AP sucks. We need to create national news agency that has some journalistic ethics.
