And the really interesting thing is that, at this point, 100,000 more votes have been cast for Prop 2 than for Prop 1, 150,000 more than for Prop 3!
There have been a LOT of folks gone to vote for one thing, and one thing only.
OK, then.
Y'all come!
OK, then.
Y'all come!
The defeat of this amendment by such a huge margin is great. And to think I worried about the homos and their tricky and confusing advertising, campaigning and posters, which tried to fool many folks into voting NO.
I'm very proud to be a Texan.
You got that (W)right :)
When you see the departures board at Hobby and compare with that at DAL it's enough to make you cry (or get really mad).
Jim Wright's legacy: a tax on all of us, payable directly to American Airlines.
But here in Denton County, 19.93% of my precinct voters turned out!
This precinct voted 81.6% in favor of Prop 2!
Denton County as a whole (including Texas Lesbian Woman's University) voted 77.6% in favor!
It's in the sidebar.
Here in Angelina county we had 10% proqueer. 90% antiqueer. Did you see Travis county? A very enlightened group of perverts. Travis county voted No on the amendment.
All the local news here in the Dallas area started their newscasts with the homo defeat.....reporting from gay bars in Oak Lawn...ROFL. I knew when I went to vote, and the line was out the door, the homos were gonna be sad. Yes!!
Texas is NOW the 19th state.
</correction>
even with Roberts and Alito, there are 5 votes for it I think.
Another gem brought to you by the dishonest MSM!
I have often wondered why the Rats are such fanatics about how crooked the Florida and Ohio elections were, but never question the 100% vote that Saddam used to received in his elections. Never could figure that out.
Travis County is a big puckered spot in Texas. Seems logical since this is where all the crap comes from!
I've already seen a lib who was for this posting on an apolitical forum that it negates all marriage in the state.
Sounds like the way the left will fight this. If "they" can't have a marriage, then no one can. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".
No one told them how to vote on the other amendments.
Funny thing is they treated the state constitution like the federal constitution and took the stance "we shouldn't clutter it with a lot of unnecessary or redundant amendments". So why didn't the lying liars vote down all of the amendments?
