I can't believe they are going to elect that jerk Corzine... I was counting all the third party votes and it would make the election much closer if people had voted Forester instead of 3rd party. I know a lot of Freepers continually say I can't vote for so and so so I'll vote third party -- this is how we got a Bill Clinton in the first place and why I swallow hard and vote Republican unless someone is an out-and-out crook. NJ could end up with a crook beause too many people voted their convictions instead of against the worse of the two candidates.

i am not an expert on NJ politics, but can anyone tell me what makes Forrester bad from a conservative viewpoint?

It all depends on which communities have been reported and which haven't been reported. And I'm not an expert on New Jersey, so I can't say how this race will go. But around two-thirds of the precincts haven't reported yet.

Don't throw away the champange bottles just yet.

I heartily agree.

I voted once "on principle" in my twenties. I realized eventually what a folly it was- and though I've held my nose many times over the years- I've not made the same mistake.
