I wouldn't count on BRAC changing anything. It will shift some VA jobs to MD, but mainly will bring 4000+ jobs from liberal NJ to liberal MD. (Monmouth to Aberdeen)

I think that'll be a mixed blessing- With more DOD work comes additional consultant-types to work defense contracts, and these types tend to be somewhere around 80% Democrat.

Our prosperity is attracting too many Yankees. We've gotta figure out a way to funnel them to Maryland...
