Nearly 300 towns and cities in France, 3 cities in tiny little Belgium, several towns in Germany, not to mention Denmark.

The cradle of western civilization is burning, 60 years after the end of the last war.

What country is next? Italy? England?

Maybe the EU can do something. < /extremely bitter sarc >

That's not the least bit funny! The Belgians were far more fierce than the French in resisting the Nazis and their reward was betrayal. I expect Belgian autorities to crack down with marshall law even; at least the Belgians I used to know would be calling for that right now.
