So, Mr. Wallace, what nations were in this huge coalition which invaded Normandy on June 6, 1944? The United States and Britain, with assistance from the Aussies and Canadians. Mr. Wallace may be considered a giant in the field of journalism, but a high school dropout with access to the internet is probably more knowledgeable about history.

Bravo!

And yes, it was about 154,000 US, Brits, Canadians, and Aussies who stormed Utah, Sword, Omaha, and Juno beaches. The French participated, but their numbers were very, very small in comparison. Anyone know how many?

Three. Yes I am certain that there were three Frenchies, but they stayed way back from the fighting as they were there to take pictures for that pompous ass Charles De Gaulle.

The French had a great time during the German occupation; in fact many cried when the Germans left. Close to 98% collaborated with the German invaders which left only 2% that was generally composed of a few communist illegal aliens that Generalissimo Francisco Franco hadn't been able to shoot.
