To: The Westerner; areafiftyone

If the Republican Party puts up McCain-Guilani or Mccain-Powell, there is no way I will vote for them. And as far as I'm concerned it'll be the "death nail" for the party as well because I believe the loss of support from conseratives will be too much to overcome for either of those combos to win. The Republican party has become what the Democrat party used to be. It'll be time to start a new conservative party. In fact, it already is.

Well the Republican party is splitting and has been since the 2004 elections. McCain I think sees this and is going to take advantage of the split. I'm not saying he is going to win but if he runs a Democrat might just win in 2008.
