Is it customary to have a shower for each child?

It's like having a bachelorette party for your 4th wedding - kind of loses it's charm, I would think.

On a seperate note - I simply cannot fathom how some people, especially with children in their care, can willingly live in such squalor. It would seem to me that there's a natural instinct to disregard one's own filth - let alone the maternal instincts of defending & protecting your offspring.

Of course, in this woman's case, I'd suspect a steady regimen of drugs and alcohol has dulled her instincts and sense of right vs. wrong.

$10 says her laywer claims she's messed up becasue "the system let her down" or some such squawkboxery
