When was the last time you saw the people of a nation state dispossessed of their culture and country? It's much more likely, historically, that the French majority will rise up at some point and put a violent end to this thing.

Hmmmm, France in WWII comes to mind.
Except that the French have willfully and intentionally been denigrating, destroying, ridiculing and abandoning their culture, tradition, history and religion for the past 25 years - more than an entire generation. I hope the French "majority" will rise up - but I truly wonder if it even exists anymore. The change in that country since I first started going there in the early 1980s is shocking.
