Anti-terrorism raids surprise Muslim community

What's Arabic for...
"I'm shocked, shocked I tell you to hear that terrorist acts
might be planned by polite Islamic-wacko youths!"

Gee, the drug bust in the hose next door didn't bother me that much. What do these people have, a guilty conscience or something?

"That several innocent people could have been affected by these raids and that is always our concern because a lot of this work is based on intelligence."

More than several innocent people could have been affected if there HADN'T been a raid. Of course, the muslims aren't worried about those innocents.

Mahometan filth, there's the door if you don't like it. Back to your own shit-hole countries, pests!

Well said, and exactly right.

Oh, BTW, pay no attention to the "realists" and Islamo-fascist appeasers who might not appreciate such a dose of truthfulness: they're the kind of folks who, had they been around during WW II, would've said that instead of fighting the Axis powers with all the resources our country could summon we should be "realistic" and treat the war with Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan "like the Cold War": in other words, talk instead of fight.

I'd ignore such simpering Quislings.

If they really want a surprise, they should try the crap they are pulling in Fwance in the US. Well, as long as they aren't in some place where the populace is disarmed, like New York City, Washington DC, San Fran, etc.

Try it in Dearborn. I Double Dog Dare you. You'll have better luck in Haifa.

Somehow, I suspect that as bad as the gangs are and as willing as they can be to rebel against autority, if the muzzies started something like this in the US, not all of the gangs would take it from them. They may not want the authorities we have now but I'd lay money on the fact that they wouldn't want the muslims either.

To hell with the gangs. Their marksmanship is quite apalling. I'm talking about poor white trash like me with one gun they can dang well use.

Well, what I was referring to was the tiny contingent of so-called FReepers who always show up in these threads with one of two mutually contradictory talking points which go something like this:

(1). There are hundreds of millions of America-loving, peace-embracing, violence-rejecting Muslims who yearn for nothing more than the opportunity to help us out in the WOT and open up Pizza Huts and Starbucks franchises in their spare time. The fact that such ground-swelling hordes of incipient Thomas Jefferson's are nowhere in evidence anywhere in the Islamic World is irrelevant: you're just not "realistic" enough to realize that this isn't a real war; it's just like the Cold War, and we've gotta play nice...plus I've read every Tom Clancy book and know all about all kinds of military hardware and you're just an old meanie poo-poo head.

(2). There are a billion Muslims in the world and we can't fight them all, regardless of your historically accurate contention that we fought an equivalent percentage of the world's fascist population during WW II and triumphed (which I'm really hacked off you brought up such facts, BTW); so we should give up, sorta, and have more special forces surgical strikes, sorta, and just play nice with these latter-day fascists, ALWAYS; and I'm gonna run back to my military hardware technical threads and my military history threads and "Gee-Whiz-I'm-a-Learned-Military-Strategist" threads and ignore your input because you're an old meanie poo-poo head for pointing out those inconvenient facts.

There is a tiny coterie of such Quislings about, and they often post the same two contradictory talking points in the same thread.

Every time I spot one, as I did in this thread, I praise the poster they tried to get "cute" and snarky with--and wait to see if they have the guts to challenge my supporting post.

Not one, so far, has dared: they simply don't have the intellectual equipment to take me on in such a debate, and they well know it.

This is just an explanation of why my post might seem a bit "off-kilter" if you don't know the history of my resolute stand against this tiny band of phony Tom-Clancy-wannabees (I see you're a relatively new FReeper: welcome), and FYI.

Give me a billion and one rounds of ammo with about half of the M1A rifles that were cut up during eight years of Clinton/Gore, along with a little potash, and I'll show you about one hundred fifty billion pounds of fertilizer slightly contaminated with lead and gilding metal. I'll also be able to show you a dang sore shoulder.

How's that for a third rail there dude?

"That several innocent people could have been affected by these raids and that is always our concern because a lot of this work is based on intelligence. "Intelligence is not always perfect and that can create difficulties and hardship."

"Stupidity, on the other hand, works very well in achieving voluntary bondage to destructive beliefs handed down from a seventh century madman."

Great pic.

It must have been subliminal based on the pic, but I thought at first glance your Screen Name was "freedump".

He says it was both traumatic and dramatic for neighbours.
"A number of people gathered on the front yard of their homes not knowing what to do," he said.
"Just the impact of something like this can leave people confused and dumbfounded for a period of time."

Yeah, that can happen
