Must be local adv. Not here.
Yes, I should have stated it was on the Philadelphia ABC station. Still a very expensive buy for a last-minute ad.
Even if Forrester is ahead at this point, one thing can be counted on in Jersey politics: the dems always manage to "find" enough votes to win. I'm guessing that a great many corpses will be exercising their right to vote tomorrow.
I just saw a spot about the NJ race on Greta's show. She was criticizing Forrester for turning negative with an ad by Corzine's ex-wife, claiming that Corzine let his family down and would probably let the people of NJ down. I thought that it was pretty funny.
Lets ask his Ex-Wife....
Yeah, I can't imagine it would be something to be aired nationally.
The polling data in this race closely mirrors a statewide race here in Kentucky some years back. The Republican candidate was consistently behind anywhere from 7-10 points throughout the campaign (49-41, for example), until the last week where there was negative momentum against the Democrat. His lead evaporated to just a few points (43-41, for example) without the Republican candidate making any gains - the voters had decided against the Democrat but hadn't yet decided on the GOP candidate - but obviously did when looking at the two names in the voting booth - the Republican won 53-47. It looks very similar in this race, based on the polling data. One thing is for sure - Corzine is not going to win by 20+ points as it once looked like he might.
I am still wondering howcum them prostitutians spend gazillions of their own election money to get some $100k job? Bloomberg, Corzine,...
Hard to believe NJ can be such a beautiful State with what is running it.
If Corzine gets in, guess who is coming back to take his place. Yep, The Torch.
Whats the game score?
GO COLTS!!!!!
Who cares what stone face has to say?
She's not exactly an icon people think highly of.
Seriously?!
Torricelli?
You really think Gov Codey (that is his name, right?) would appoint the Torch for the remainder of Corzine's term?
I'd have to believe that Codey isn't quite that stupid - but I could be wrong.
As a major manufacturers rep for many years, NJ was the only place I was told to have a TV on their porch when I got the order.

Corzine is a swine. And I live in Pennsylvania. |
I moved back to PA from Jersey 3 years ago, and my answering machine is full of "Vote Absentee for Corzine" messages. I wonder how many former Jersey-ites actually did.
The score was 41-21 Colts when I shut it off.
