Remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer catches her in a "compromising position" with Newman?
To: JellyJam
The name is real familiar but for some reason I can't place her in my mind.

I remember her for playing Serepta, John Wayne's former galpal, in "The Shootist."

Never cared much one way or the other about her until she played the role of Kramer's mother in Seinfeld. She did a great job in that role. Gosh, complications from surgery? Wow. How sad.

Not even Bette Davis could do a blowsy, shopworn drunk better than Sheree North.

She was excellent in a small role in Don Siegel's great film, Charlie Varrick.

Babs: What are you doing out here?
Newman: Nothing, just minding my own business.
Babs: Well, you can't get into any trouble by doing that!
Newman: Who says I'm looking for trouble?
I love that exchange between those two. Apologies if I screwed it up.
