Bill Clinton: Bush Tax Cuts 'Immoral', 'Unethical'

Ex-president Bill Clinton is blasting President Bush's economic policies as "immoral" and "unethical," saying he blames administration tax cuts for increasing hostility towards the U.S. around the world.

"I hear all this talk about family values and all this stuff," Clinton told an audience at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, before explaining how an old friend had been hurt by cuts in subsidies for Americans in need while the wealthy got tax cuts.

"I resent it," Clinton said, his voice rising in anger. "I think it's immoral, I think it's unethical."

"Nobody ever explains what the meaning of those tax cuts are," he told the crowd. "So we're going to give them their tax cuts first and then go ask the Chinese to loan us money to help save the lives of the young men and women we send into combat."

The Minnesota crowd applauded as the ex-president continued to paint the White House as fiscally irresponsible in a way that shortchanges other countries.

Didn't he promise not to raise taxes on the middle class, then turn around and stick it to us? The Clintons should stay away from moral pontification.

There's an old adage in the carny that it's immoral to let a mark keep any of his money. It's plain to see that's how the Dems think of US citizens.

Bush didn't cut taxes. He deferred them to future elections. If you don't cut government expenses, you aren't cutting taxes.

Bill Clinton: Bush Tax Cuts 'Immoral'

What would a low life loser like Clinton know about morals? I'm surprised he didn't burst into flames when he walked into a church when covering up the Monica fiasco.

Help me out here, will ya.

It seems I have reached a point where I can no longer tell when something is meant to be satire or if it is the real deal. This past week it was a totally unbelievable letter from ted (-the-swimmer-) kennedy to President Bush that everyone kept insisting was for real and now, as I read this I am thinking this must be satire ... not even slick is that stupid......or is he?

I don't think we need any "morality" opinions from an adulterer and/or "ethical" opinions from a perjurer and disbarred attorney, thank you.

yes, how DARE I want to keep my OWN money to take care of my OWN family! Why.. sputter.. sputter... sputter... How can we call ourselves moral. Actually wanting to keep our own money and spend it on what we think is the best use of our own money. If Slicky Willy wants to give more of this wealth he cant shut up about to the goverment then be my guest and go and feel so superior to the rest of us. Bastard.
