We should print up 10 million flyers with the additional caption:

"Dick Durbin thinks Iraqi Arab girls shouldn't be protected.

-------What do you think?"

Substitute "Kerry, Kennedy, Schumer, Rockefeller" etc., as appropriate.

Hateful politicians, all of them.

Drunk on their supposed self importance.

Drunk on their supposed power.

Drunk on greed and death.

But they are spiraling out of control like an Oldsmobile headed off a Massachusetts bridge.

Their victims are the innocent, but they do not care.

Because they worship at the alter of death, hate, greed, vanity, lust and insolence.

I stand against these, these, and it is hard for me to say it, people.

I don't think it's worth the cost, since if we had merely dropped nukes from 30,000 feet it wouldn't have cost us a single soldiers life, and the war would be over. But for some reason it's not fair to fight a battle in such a way as to take no casualties.

I will try to say this is as nicely as I can. Your comment is irrational and ugly. Our military men and women do NOT want to see innocent people killed. Dropping nukes from 30,000 feet may not have cost us a single soldiers life, but it would have cost us our souls. God bless our troops who fight the GOOD fight.

Thank you for your post. And your "poster" of the little girl and message it sends is just perfect. :)

You are not only disgusting and irrational, you have no place on this forum.

I was a personnel clerk in 'Nam in a long row of tents of personnel clerks. We recorded the "duty to dead".

Consistently, the #1 killer in 'Nam when I was there was drunken traffic accidents in no way related to combat.

But we were all told to make the record show, and send the letters home to the family, "Your loved one died a hero fighting for his country."

I'm under the impression that there is much less drunkeness in Iraq and in the Army these days. But I'm not there and where can good info be found on what is actually happening there? Both sides are much more "spin conscious" than in 66-67 when both sides already did a lot of spinning.

Good question. The MSM does preface some of their death reports with “non-combat” or “traffic accident”. They still lump all deaths/injuries/wounded as Casualties of the War”.

Here is some perspective. The aircraft below is a B-24 Liberator. It alone accounted for 2,796 of the 13,621 Amy Air Corp fatalities due to accidents in the in Continental US during WWII.

That is before the Airmen got into theatre where the B-24s and B-17s were shot down in droves.

While all American's mourn the loss of even one soldier, freedom isn't free. I wish the left cared as much about the military personnel during peace time as they do during war.

The world is a witness to the words of the islamic fundamentalists, They tell us every day that they are going to kill us, destroy our way of life and impose, with bloodshed and force, islamic rule on every nation on earth.
They make these statements each and every day. They are now backing up these words with daily bloody terrorist attacks, on innocent people, someplace in the world.
If we are going to fight them is not and issue because they will keep attacking us and we must fight to survive.
The socialists left in this country have become deaf to their words and blind to their actions. Each and every day they ignore the islamic threats, each and every day they ignore the islamic terrorist attacks. Who in their right mind would want anyone this deaf and blind to our national security and personal well being in charge of anything?
Not me!!!!!
The only questions left are when and where we fight.
By inaction the socialists would cause this battle to be here in our cities, towns, airports, and schools. This inaction would directly cause the deaths of 10 of thousands of our family members and friends right here at home. This inaction would cause a drastic change in our way of life and a loss of our individual freedoms.
The only logical conclusion is that these are the goals of the socialist left democratic party in the USA.
Those who support the socialists in this country really need to sit down and figure out when you will begin to fight back. IS is after the attack San Francisco with a dirty bomb, Or Seattle with a chemical dispersion. You need to come up with a threshold number of just how many Americans or members of your family have to die before your think it is justified to respond with force.
While you are at it, decide if you want to fight this battle here in the states in our towns and cities or half way around the world.
Think about which of your family or friends you are willing to risk, and lose in the coming prolonged gorilla warfare on main-street on main-street USA. That is exactly what is coming if you get your way.
This has to be you want, your determined demand for inaction overseas leaves no other possible outcome. lock and load

France is a fine example of what happens by not fighting them.

The leftists in Los Angeles won’t fight for San Francisco – they’ll wait until their cars and schools are burning. “If only those San Franciscans were more understanding!” Some of those people won’t fight for anything, anywhere anytime. “Understanding”, “Compassion” and “Dialogue” is their answer.

I'm still waiting to see daily video of Iraqis draging the bad guys, (who live among them) into the streets and hanging them for all to see

For all we know, they may be. The MSM wouldn't show the videos anyway.

Have you seen many videos of the Iraqi security forces taking down the bad guys? You think that means they aren't doing it?

What you do see are the bad guys blowing up Iraqi volunteer recruits, yet the volunteers keep coming in large numbers.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind comments. If you feel it's worthy, please send a copy of the image to a US service person and let them know that we think what they're doing is noble and worthwhile. I'd LOVE to see more grass-roots efforts at supporting our troops (and our President and country) taking place. Thanks for all your help. We're gonna win this thing!

I support the war... for different reasons (national security, not human rights).

So using your argument, it is NOW okay for conservatives to say, "It's for the children"...

Reasoning was okay until you threw this in...

Other reasons for the war against Hussein's Iraq ... Hussein cheated the UN's oil-for-food program

LOL. I guess we should invade all of Africa and every other third-world ash heap.

I, too, support the war primarily for reasons of national security. However, the left-wing peace-at-any-cost types are unable to think and rely on emotion to guide them. As such, I felt that this was a good way to reach them.

But yes, it is indeed okay for conservatives to now say "It's for the children..."

Of course, what we won't tell them is that it's for OUR children.

That's an inane comment. Besides the myriad of reasons that it wouldn't work, we are not monsters. We do not murder hundreds of thousands of civilians.
