Right off the bat, this guy's definition of stooge is wrong. The most famous stooges of all are the Three Stooges, and yet they don't fit either definition.

Actually if you read the history of the three stooges you will find that in the beginning they were in fact stooges in the sense of definition number one. They started as "Ted Healy and his Stooges" it wasn't until 1934 that they broke from Healy and signed with Columbia Studios as The Three Stooges.
