Just wondering because it may happen sooner than later here if France provides the morale boost to terrorism and/or Muslim extremists they're looking for in order to attempt their ultimate objective, America. Mr. Villepin, a former foreign minister, has focused on a more diplomatic approach, consulting widely with community leaders and young second-generation immigrants to come up with a promised "action plan" that he said would address frustrations in the underprivileged neighborhoods. He has released no details of the plan.

This sounds a lot like "affirmative action" to me. I wonder if it will work any better than here. I also wonder whether it will be as popular with the mainstream of France as it is here.
