The silence of the press on this issue is disgusting. The French press keep playing it up as an issue of "social class," while the English-speaking press focuses on the ethnic angle (are there really many Lebanese Christians or Haitians involved in these riots. I don't think so). Thankfully, we have the 'net to bring to light the fact that this is but one tactic in the global jihad.
This sounds a lot like "affirmative action" to me. I wonder if it will work any better than here. I also wonder whether it will be as popular with the mainstream of France as it is here.
What the hell are you talking about? My original comment on this thread was about the fact that blacks will see this as an opportunity(although I didn't convey that very well).
The only comments I made on law, were of the gun control in Chi-town. ??????????????
That's the odd thing about shantytown. The residents are industrious, hard-working people. It's mostly business under the radar. That is the fault of the Gummint.
That is correct and your claim that guns were not allowed in Chicago is false. Handguns (with the exception of those grandfathered in) are illegal. Other guns are not. You can own shotguns, rifles etc.
And even the ban on pistols is rarely enforced. There have been several cases in the last few years of people defending themselves with handguns even killing a perp with no prosecutions.
I realize it is fun to make wild rhetorical assertions about such matters but the truth is the truth.
If you want to call that wild assertions, knock yourself out., It was late and I was playing around with some posters. I was making no claims of any kind.
Please try to have some fun.
BTW thanks for the info on the laws up there. All I remember was that it was illegal to sell.
There are plenty of things to criticize about the government of Chicago so I try and limit them to actualities.
I generally have fun on FR which is why I spend way too much time here.
