A group called "SOS Racism"(that's my best English translation) is saying that the French media is sensationizing the violence. I saw this on French TV news site LCI. Also, it appears 29 police were injured today at Gringy, south of Paris, the way I translate it.

The fear factor may explain why they burned down another school today.

...to make the children afraid? I'm still not sure of the significance of burning so many schools.
