Aside from "stuck on stupid" being the next cliche that will make my ears bleed from hearing it too often, I thought Joe Kennedy attempted to have "stupid" cut out.

Alas, he should have popped his own lid and taken the knife to himself. Although, in those days doctors didn't use scalpels to perform lobotomies...icepicks or screwdrivers were the preferred tools. That poor girl.
