Maybe he's thinking ahead to when the Democrats regain control of congress and the White House?

By the time that happens Iraq will be self sustainable. Despite the preceived downward spiral of Bush's numbers, the left has gained no ground. The average person sees Fat drunken Teddy bloviating on the military and intelligence, and understand that this boob doesnt have clue. My neighbor, who is in the pipefitters union and votes dem because he always has, told me the other day, that depite his mistrust of Bush and the possibility of union busting (grrrr) he cant imagine the current crop of Dems in charge of a war or another terror attack. If he gets it, hopefully my granola friends will wake up one day. But Im afraid that will take another WTC to the tenth power...!

Excellent post.
I to feel these polls are totally meaningless and don't even get the administrations attention nor should they. GW seems more focused than ever, the rat/msm will use anything they can against this adm. but little if anything ever sticks because there is nothing there.!!!
If all this sounds familiar remember the days of Reagan.
He ignored the msm as well

Printers union neighbor of mine voted for Bush for the same reason, even though he was being told by the union that Bush was bad for unions. He gets it too. Other Democrats I know are so caught up in the fantasy of impeaching Bush that they are oblivious to reality.
