Just got word from my daughter stationed at McChord they are evacuating. EOD on base. Anyone one else heard anything?

I don't know if that is what it is, just speculating.
However, bombs from WWII are found in Europe and Japan on a fairly regular basis, usually during some kind of construction. Same goes for bombs from the Korean and Vietnam wars.
