"Anderson, who is from Guatemala, is seeking $50,000 in civil penalties, unspecified damages and attorney fees."

Hey, Omar! Offer him 50,000 euros -- I'll bet he'll take THAT!

"You're money's no good here Mr. Sharif"

"No, I mean it Mr. Sharif, it's euro. You're money's no good anywhere."

Omar Sharif was sued by a restaurant parking valet (Juan Anderson, who is from Guatemala) who says the actor called him a derogatory name ("stupid Mexican") and punched him after the valet refused to accept his European currency.

Mr. Sharif's publicist apologized for the error and said that in the future Sharif would refer to Juan Anderson as a "stupid Guatemalan".

The suit claims Sharif was belligerent and intoxicated and called the valet a "stupid Mexican" when he refused to accept a 20 euro note.

That's about $23.50 right? That was stupid not to accept it.
