Bingo! About time, NJ pubbies...go get 'em.
an astonished Judge Linda R. Feinberg ?
yeah - right - astonished that someone actually said it openly maybe. Now she is probably worried about the probability of her entry into the "netherworld" if she rules against the status quo.
Here in NJ Republicans are making a comeback (9-11, Cipolgate and Corzine are taking their toll on the Moderates, they are flocking right.
Why is this being heard so late in the voting cycle?
It's not quite fair. If you're dead, you can only vote in New Jersey if you've been dead over 20 years. If alive, you only have to be 18. Let's lower the voting age for the dead to 18.
Evidently the pubbies just filed the motion last week...
She never heard of Chicago?
"Let's lower the voting age for the dead to 18."
Good point. Dead people have rights too.
"With Tuesday's vote nearing, a state attorney admitted in Superior Court yesterday that the official charged with tracking deaths has failed to follow a state law designed to remove dead people from voter registration lists."
Who is this aforementioned 'official'?
"Why is this being heard so late in the voting cycle?"
Dead people are kind of slow getting the word out. It ought to be a hate crime to be so negative toward the dead.
Would this create cause to contest the election (if need be)?
Good question...I'm no lawyer, but the judge put a Monday deadline on reconciling the books. Let's see what happens after that.
I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked! Dead people voting? But still, it's within their rights as registered democrats!

Ping!
I have noticed that some Republican states have done election reform, but the big democratic strongholds have not. Democrats scream about bogus election issues while maintainng their huge pools of fraud. This looks like a start on one of them. Next, do NYC and see if Hitlery gets 55%.
A 50% loss to the Democrat rolls could have a large impact on future elections.
It's not shocking, it's just prudent liberal business tactics.
Just look at the money saved to the coffers of the DNC by not having to buy grosses of free voter cigarettes.
Not necessarily, however it would create a "circus" driven by the MSM.
Consider how long a case must take to actually get before the judge. Think of all the motions and delaying tactics. Also consider the strategy that if the case is delayed long enough, the inevitable remedy would be delayed until after the election. The RATs have managed to wring one more victory out of their most important constituency: the dead.
Too bad the judge in acceding to the RATs claim that there was insufficient time to properly cleanse the rolls didn't say "fine, but I want all post-election cases of voter fraud to come before me and I will sentence accordingly."
