I guessed it was something like that. "Sleep high, train low" (meaning to train in normal pressure and oxygen conditions but sleep in real or simulated high-altitude conditions) seems to be the latest advance. Forces your blood to adapt but allows better workouts than simply moving to La Paz, Bolivia would do.
