" All of the statements were entered on a spreadsheet that put each public statement side-by-side with the underlying intelligence reporting that came closest to supporting it." . . . . . . . . . . That is, the claims would be assessed without any knowledge of who made them. Although the plan seemed like a reasonable way to take politics out of the evaluation process, the Democrats balked. For good reason. Ooohhhhh those wascawwy Wepublicans. They took statements and put them on a timeline. But they didn't attribute the statements. Of course, many of the statements were being made by Democrats, some of whom are now saying the opposite of what they said earlier - and now while accusing the Bush Administration of LYING! And they're livid! Ya just gotta love it!

Ya just gotta love it!And they use that very lie to launch a blood libel against President Bush, safe in the knowledge that the MSM will never call them on it.
But no, I don't love it. This is dangerous stuff.
