Congressman Miller is from Chumuckla. I always remember the place because of an intrmural football team at the University of West Florida.

I was quarterback of our team and we went undefeated through the season. Our team was composed of country boys from Walton and Holmes County. There was another team which we played for the championship. They were all from Jay and Chumuckla.

We were friends with them because we were both local boy teams and from the rural areas. For some reason, a lot of the University of West Florida students were from South Florida.

Well we were the best team and really didn't take them seriously although they did win their division. Big mistake. They had done their homework and knew just how to play us. They beat us pretty badly.
