Now I'm going to have to turn around and start eating those French biscuits I've been avoiding for all these years (since DeGaulle - the gall of that guy was too much for me).

This may be happening in France, but if it comes to the U.S., it will be met with a different attitude. I am confident of this.If it comes to the US, many of us will be called upon to put our money where our mouth has been... and dust off the Second Amendment.

I am a bagel man myself, but this is too good to pass up because I eat breakfast with a Mooslimb co-worker almost every day
It will be my little secret.
I wonder if he will ever know why I am smiling from ear to ear

I'll bet his descendants emigrated west. And they probably rode horses in the US Cavalry. Killing some of the 'indigenous' Asiatic Mongol scalping savages. The more things change, the more they stay the same. When the West and the East were not fighting amongst ourselves, we were fighting Eurasian wars. Asiatic Hordes verses the West. Eurasian warfare has been going on for 1,000's of years. China is getting ready to join the conflict. The only ray of hope comes from the Shining City on the Hill called America. Where the East meets the West. Where perhaps the two ancient conflicting cultures can hopefully eventually live together in peace.

Yes, it points out typical weakness on the part of the French government, but what about innocent people? What about the innocents? The French people and their government are responsible. NOT America. Europe will have at least one more large "growing pain". The only thing that I agree with the Lefties on is bringing our soldiers home. From Europe first, then Japan, and then other far-east areas. When the middle east has remained economically viable for 50+ years, we can talk about ending that occupation.

If they claim to be "autonomous" regions - they ought not get welfare or voting privileges.

When France goes muslim will that be a wake-up call? Apparently parts of France are already under control of the muslim hordes. That explains why the insurgency uprising has been allowed to go on for so many days.

Madam, we must have pistols! We must all have pistols forthwith! We must all think, and we must all have pistols, and think each and every one of us to the very best of his ability...

Interesting. I wonder how many Frenchman know this historical tid-bit. I'd vote maybe a few dozen, but they all liberal elitist and consider it barbaric.
I, on the other hand, have just had the enjoyment of my croissants increased ten fold. Thanks.

"I think it's time I finally went and bought a pistol."
Might want to get an SKS too, and several hundred rounds of 7.62 x 39mm. I recommend the Sellier and Bellot hollow point (I don't think we'll care about the Geneva convention), good quality and cheap. And practice, a lot of the vermin are poor shots, they probably fire more rounds into the air than at a target range.

Wow. And the first bagel was supposedly baked by a Vienna baker to honor the King of Poland who rode his horse into battle against the Muslim Turks and saved Vienna. The bagel was to symbolize the circular foot braces the King of Poland stood on while smashing the Muslims. Wow. Our ancestors perhaps were wiser then we could have ever imagined. They left us clues to our reason for being here today. The keys to freedom apparently can be found in the days first meal.

"Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy noted a great coordination among rioters, hinting that the unrest was far from spontaneous."
Al Sharpton: "Boy Jesse, that spontaneous riot last night was something?"
Jesse Jackson" "Shhh, the spontaneous riot isn't until tomorrow night!"

After reading several articles and especially some of the muzzies quotes that include things like 'occupied territories' I decided to update my tagline. Seeing that the palis invented a name for themselves out of a historical Roman provincial name, I've applied the same concept.

That is good advice. That person should also acquire a good 12-gauge pump. No need to go crazy with the high end autoloaders (Benelli, Franchi, et al, even though they are really nice). There are many robust models out there for really good prices.
