The liberals are so tolerant, aren't they?<

And they don't know history. The young black "lawn jockey" figure, was commissioned to honor a revolutionary war hero kid that took care of Washington's horse. He froze to death at Valley Forge. Washington wanted to honor him and commissioned the sculpture.

The sculpture was very popular, and was used by the underground railroad to tell fleeing slaves if the road ahead was clear. Red cloths on the statue meant there was danger to slaves.

But they are not taught that history.

He froze to death at Valley Forge.... I believe he froze on this side of the river when they attacked Trenton.
