Well...rational, American, logic dictates France for all its warts is part of NATO and before France become "Franistan" as you indicate...we will invade and retake the country for whatever French citizenry is willing to fight for liberty and religous freedom.
We, the US, will not allow France's nuclear arsenal to fall into the hands of a militant islamic group of thugs nor will we allow such an enemy to exist so close to other allies.
Right...you T'd up the worst case scenario, I am just using logic to bring it to a conclusion.

Um...France is not a part of NATO. Hasn't been for about 40 years.
You mention the nuclear arsenal in France, but another concern is that much of the electricity generated in France comes from nuclear power plants.
It's probably not co-incidental that there are a lot of Islamists there.
