Every time I hear 'at the end of the last century' I automatically pop back to the 19th. I may never get used to this being alive in the 21st century.[sigh] In another 10 years it will seem quite natural. By then, they'll be labeling things as the "crime of the century!" the way they did with Leopold & Loeb back ... when was it ... the 1920s?

Nothing like making claims when only the first 20% of the century has gone by. Journalists [disgusted look on my face]. If the news is boring, spin it as fast as possible.
