I've given this a bit of thought. Mikey says the trust fund is empty, and there is no money. Does anyone seriously believe that?
Now say you're trying to access money that you supposedly don't have. You need to account for it somehow, so why not run a scam, excuse me....create a PAC. You will "solicit donations", and make personal appearances. Theoretically, you can charge as much as you like to show up to an empty room.
See where I'm going with this? My bf brought up the topic of money laundering on a different subject, but I think it could apply to this. /tinfoil ;-)
Good points. That would be a winning situation for all involved. Mikey would get to run a scam behind the Dems, and the Dems would get to run their sham behind Mikey.
