Rioting among young men of North African and black African origin -- mostly locally-born citizens who feel cheated by France's official promises of liberty, equality and fraternity -- began last week after two teenagers of African origin died while fleeing the police. Says who? Reuters? It sounds like another case of editorializing in a news article. Why should anybody trust Reuters?

I spent 2.5 weeks in Paris near St. Denis over holidays of 1976/77...with my sister and brother-in-law....he is French-Algerian....and they told me THEN, nearly 30 years ago....that the Algerians were going to be a BIG problem.....so, I guess their children have NOT "acclimated."
