I'm betting that Porter Goss has made a secret request to the Justice Department to investigate insubordination (to put it mildly) in the CIA in this whole affair.

And Justice probably couldn't start working until Fitz was done, lest there be attacks from the left and the MSM that such an investigation was meant to obstruct or distract from Fitz's investigation.

There is some serious sh** going on under the surface here. Kinda like water polo - you can't see all the clawing and kicking, just the ball being thrown back and forth.

Or, the administration, because they're Republicans, don't want to call for an investigation because they are afraid of being accused of "smearing" their detractors. God knows any self-respecting Republican would not want anyone to think they were being impolite.
