I believe there's already been two investigations hasn't there, but the results didn't turn up anything to pin on the Bush Adminstration so the commie lefties kept feeding the general public with their conspiracy theories and the gullable fell for and believed their lies.
IMHO: Plans for the mess and situation the USA is in now were carefully laid out and put into operation way back in 1969 by the KGB and William Jefferson Clinton. Communism/NWO/Socialism is florishing and has been fed to those on the left a little at a time so they didn't notice what was happening.

" I can't recall too many Congressional investigations that accomplished much more than spending money, creating cumbersome and inconclusive reports. "

9/11 Omission Commission ?

"Best defense is a good offense."...YES.

The Republicans need to turn this whole thing around, and start investigating the Democrats.

Truman was the last true Democrat and JFK was his disciple. Zell Miller could be called a modern Democrat.

A few more votes like this and they'll be stuck on suicide.

"War for Oil."

Got proof?

"Bush Lied about war"

Really?
When?

"Blacks evil, let them die in New Orleans"

Who said that?
Got proof?

Question for the DNC's whores. If "Bush lied" in 2003 what does that say about Bill Clinton and EVER current sitting Democrat Senate Leader when they used the SAMER intelligence to justify bombing Iraq in 1998??????

This is a "post-modernist world", where "truth is created". If Democrats want to create the truth that Bush lied, even though that doesn't appear to be the case, then it shall be true, even if it's false. Howard Dean is a prime example of "truth creation", though he needs to hone his skills.

could not agree with you more my fellow FReeper.

i wish the President would use the bully pulpit and once and for all challenge the human waste scum that keep saying Bush lied. with a list of sound bites from our enemy leftist that ranted under clintoon that saddam had and or was trying to make WMD. allow no press questions and then turn his back on them and walk out of the room.

Though I would welcome an HONEST look into why our intelligence failed (though we have already had TWO inquiries) the problem is the whole PREMISE of this resolution...the "manipulation of intelligence." The resolution ITSELF is partisan and the Dems know it...and they ONLY want the vote on "paper" so they can say the Republicans refused this inquiry....The Dems CERTAINLY don't want one that investigates the CIA leaks and Joe Wilson shenanigans.
