Have the Springfield leftists ever encountered dissent before?

We were regularly on Battlefield Road during the 2000 election "recount". I still have my "Sore/Loserman" signs.

Park Central Square is not a good location for visibility. But I don't suppose they could could host a peace rally on Battlefield Road.
