I wonder if anyone has ever floated the notion (aka rumor) that these suicide bombers are possibly facing some humiliating circumstance in their current situation and see martyrism as a way toward restoring their 'honor.' An example might be, they have an STD (AIDS?) or have brought some other perceived 'insult' upon their communities and family (in their eyes). It sure would quell the theory that these martyrs were noble and honorable for their cause. I think it's possible, but I will say flat out I have never heard it discussed. I always hear how they were 'good' and religious and all that garbage. How do we know this really? I guess it sounds a little strange proposing the idea. I just wondered if anyone else has thought this scenario might be in play?A great idea, but such rumors would be immediately shot down by the 'usual suspect' Muslim mouthpieces as 'racist slander and bigotry' etc. Even if true, it wouldn't be reported on by the press, as they wouldn't want to imply that there's anything wrong with homosexuality or having AIDS.
