They have always been racist. What could be more racist than insisting that blacks cannot take care of themselves, and therefore must have special considerations in employment and education? This should have insulted the blacks in this country, but clearly, they enjoy the perks more than they worry about the lack of respect.

During the Civil War, how many voted for RATs then? Almost all and they were full supporters of slavery too. Why blacks overlook that awful history and then give their support to former KKK leaders like Sen. Byrd and their keep-them-on-the- plantation enemies like Sen.Fulbright, LBJ, and the Clintons is beyond inexplicable. The Voting Rights Act would not have passed except for the direct intervention of the Republicans. Many RATs voted against the Act, but black voters forget that fact.
