The problem is that slowly but surely blacks are gravitating back to the GOP. It went from 8% in 2000 to 11% in 2004, and surveys are showing it's about 15% now . . . and moving away from the Dems.

It won't be quick, but it took blacks nearly 70 years to leave the GOP to begin with---some say as much as 90.
