Nearly 300 North Shore citizens are expected to attend, including Democratic politicians U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky of the 9th district, state Sens. Jeff Schoenberg of the 9th district and Susan Garrett of the 29th district, state Reps. Julie Hamos of the 18th district, and Karen May of the 58th district, and Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, who represents the 13th county district. A volunteer service award will go to B.S. Subbukrishna of Wilmette.

Hopefully, the suspense of Edwards presentation will keep the audience glued to their seats.
