Muslim countries struggle to coexist with
the rest of the world. Without oil where would
they be?
Indeed. Apart from oil, there isn't a muslim controlled/dominmated nation on the face of the planet that has a society out of the third world.
Yes, but only a fraction of what they could do if they could somehow convert their wealth to investment-grade capital. Get all those apartment buildings registered as private property so they can get collateral for bank loans. There are $trillions going to waste. Streamline the recording process so it isn't a 20-year process that takes 500 steps. Such a large, industrious, hard-working population shouldn't be acting as if they are dirt poor when they aren't poor at all.
Then again, I suppose terrorism,....pardon me...., "societal consulting and adjustment," is an industry.
