Headline on Drudge's front page. The link to story wouldn't work for me.
UPDATE
AARON BROWN OUT AT CNN
Wed Nov 02 2005 15:43:11 ET
To: All CNN Staff
From: Jon Klein
We have made some programming decisions which will impact our prime time schedule as well as our colleague Aaron Brown. Aaron will be leaving CNN and is very much looking forward to some well-deserved time off with his family.
Aaron has made enormous contributions to CNN since his groundbreaking anchoring of Sept. 11th through the war in Iraq to the Tsunami to the recent hurricanes. Outside of the big stories, on a nightly basis, Aaron has provided our audiences with insight into the events of the United States and the world with eloquence and the highest journalist integrity.
Besides his stellar work as an anchor, Aaron stands as an absolutely brilliant writer, evident by the thoughtful perspective he injects into every story he touches.
Personally, I will miss Aaron and his wicked sense of humor. We cannot thank Aaron enough for the skills and professionalism he brought to CNN. Given his respect throughout the industry, there is no question that he will be missed.
My thoughts exactly. Even being programmed after LKL didn't help when Brown was solo.
That's pretty dang expensive shirt.
Well .. it didn't make me watch the show
Most likely Cooper
I must count myself among those who've never watched either Cooper's or Brown's show more than once.
Wolf Blitzer's show is tedious and annoying. CNN's use of that "videowall" is beyond annoying as well. It's just as annoying as FNC's use of the splitscreen, where they'll be focusing on one subject (like the war in Iraq) in one window and some other completely irrelevant topic (like a LAX car chase) in the other.
The liberal dinosaur media continues to crumble. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of people.
More likely it will be Anderson Cooper who will replace Aaron Brown, since the two of them have been sharing the same "spotlight" for some time now.
A man avoiding a stroke by this firing, if the sneer he had is a gauge of it.
I can't stand that guy... but the worst anchors (most biased) are Lou Dobss and Jack Cafferty. Those guys do nothing but trash the administration.
Maybe the paradigm of virtue....... Jack Cafferty
LOL
Yep .. it's Cooper

Jack Cafferty was tolerable when he was confined to opining on the stock market when CNNfn was on the air. Since moving over to CNN and opining on all things politics, his liberalism shines through in all it's repugnant glory.
Ha!, Ha! another LIB bites the dust!
