And you somehow read that to mean something less than 100% of their gross pay???

Even with withholding, a worker gets 100% of his paycheck. Why did you feel the need to alter the quote?

I haven't altered the quote since under the fairtax his paycheck IS 100% of his gross. Under the income tax - as most who work for a living know - it's a whole lot less than 100% (or even 90 ... or 80...).

Why do you feel the need to misstate it?
