Well they have completely backed off and retracted your quote in post 25.
Looks like we have another koolaid drinker on our hands.
"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." --John Adams
And you quite obviously have the freedom to ignore the facts.
that $100 price is already inflated by 22 percent worth of embedded tax.Even the Kool-aid drinkers don't get the message. The "embedded tax" is from employee wages...The same wages the lemmings believe is their "100%" wage. Without wage concessions there wouldn't be 20% price reductions.
It's from the very study they've been touting for years, now, when the facts are presented, they're suddenly in denial or fabricate their idiotic "cascading tax costs" B.S.
And YOU quite obviously would not recognize a FACT if it hit you right between the eyes!
What fact is that? That you think nobody is better off than you?
It's not free money?
The FACT that you are NOT free even though you THINK you are!
I'm free of your self imprisonment.
It's not free money?Sure it is. Go here where they have examples showing families having more "spendale income" than gross income...But then they also deny the tax is "of the gross payment" even though that's exactly what the law states...I guess they think the word "gross" only means yucky.
This is such a great forum. Even newbies who call themselves deserts can post inane and completely unitelligible whatzits and still be welcome.
I was also impressed by the fact that the compliance cost was $0.00. It's like magic!
You guys sitting together? Don't hold hands, its bad decorum.
BTW. The koolaid thing is getting a little old, even for you old guys. LOL.
LOL
I was quoting the article.
Could've fooled me. Probably fooled a lot of lurkers.
Do you always post the quote twice, wrapped around something else? Fine, if so. Just let us know.
You didn't even read the article. Can't blame ya , really.
Posted on 11/02/2005 10:09:04 AM PST by Eaglewatcher-1- An Open Letter to the President, the Congress, and the American people Concerning Reform of the Federal Tax Code
Dear Mr. President, Members of Congress, and Fellow Americans,
We, the undersigned business and university economists, welcome and applaud the ongoing initiative to reform the federal tax code. We urge the President and the Congress to work together in good faith to pass and sign into federal law H.R. 25 and S. 25, which together call for:
Eliminating all federal income taxes for individuals and corporations,
Eliminating all federal payroll withholding taxes,
Abolishing estate and capital gains taxes, and Repealing the 16th Amendment
We are not calling for elimination of federal taxation, which would be irresponsible and undesirable. Nor does our endorsement call for reduced federal spending. The tax reform plan we endorse is revenue neutral, collecting as much federal tax revenue as the current income tax code, including payroll withholding taxes.
Spam, spam, spam...
I've been know to refute the falsehood more than once.
