Yes, but by "mainstream media", I mean the networks, CNN, etc. You know, the "liberal media".

Of course, Drudge is getting more and more hits and that can't hurt. Still, I won't hold my breath waiting for CBS and their ilk to give it the time of day. Now had it been a black Republican - or anyone at all doing the same to a black Democrat - it would be top of the news. The double standard just reeks.

Oh, I understood what you meant by mainstream media. I think most people use the term the same way you did. I just thought perhaps that Drudge would lead to more media coverage. It seems as if sometimes now the MSM is so worried about missing something from Drudge that prominent Drudge coverage can nudge them into covering something they otherwise would not touch. There is a follow up story to this in today's Washington Times, too, by the way. I agree with you that this is unlikely to get much wider play in the liberal media, but one can always hope, however unrealistically, right?!
