In the US, muslims are mostly productive members of our society, and have assimilated much more into the fabric of our culture.

Yes! The first requirement for terrorist activities is a large insular community of sympathizers in which the actions can be incubated and back into which the terrorist can melt. We cannot allow the Islamist "teachers" to create such communities around mosques as they have done in England and Southeast Asia.

I tend to disagree, as I have heard several comments from Islamic youth who grew up in mainstream America, and have been here their entire life's, including:

"I am not an American, I am Pakistani."

and in response to September 11

"Your government planned this with Mossad so they could attack my people."

A couple run of the mill, high-school athletes, well-educated, smart kids. An unsular society is ideal, but is certainly not necessary.

Yes! This is why, across the board, multi-culturalism is so dangerous.

Our strength is that, unlike racist Europe, we are a melting pot. We want everyone here to internalize the American identity.

Our Americanism (love of country, individuals thinking of themselves a proud to be American) itself can be a great protection from internal threats.
