My chin hit the desk when I read this. I am literally speechless. America is no longer the Land of Liberty and opportunity at least not all of it. When people start encouraging centralized big Government so transparently, we have lost our way.

State governments do not equate to "big government" in any meaningful sense. Republicans are in favor of de-federalization and reducing the influence of Washington in the lives of U.S. citizens. They are not, and have never been, opponents of statewide referenda or the collection of revenue at the state level.

The statehouse is where we want these fights to occur. You win a few and you lose a few.
