Long before she married Charles she had already pushed her step-mother down a flight of stairs and wasn't speaking to her father for six months. Oh yes she had an eating disorder too. Doesn't sound very normal.
So that made it ok for him to make her believe that he loved her and then proceed with his affair while honeymooning?
